I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of of the invitations. While it was clearly listed that some assembly would be required, I think that for the original price (thank goodness we had a discount code lol) assembly should've been included, even if delivery time would've been extended.
Recommend: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Service Comments: Delivery on the other hand left much to be desired. The shipping service used was a combination of UPS and USPS, which caused a lot of confusion when it came to tracking delivery status. The original David's Bridal order confirmation included a link to a UPS tracking number, however, when we reached out to UPS both via the link and on the phone, they indicated that they no longer had the package and had passed it on to my local post office location for delivery.
Getting an accurate status from USPS was also impossible because they basically said that their systems do not show the package being received and that it was still in the care of UPS. Imagine the confusion this caused. Ultimately USPS was wrong and they delivered the package 2 days after I reported the issue.
Packaging of the invitations was excellent. Invitations, inner envelopes, outer envelopes, ribbons and the overlay were all packaged in their own separate box and clearly marked.
HOWEVER, once I opened the box that was meant to contain the translucent overlay portion of the invites, I found that the overlay was actually printed on regular card stock, similar to the actual invitation itself. Already frustrated with the delivery debacle, I called David's Bridal customer service and the rep immediately apologized and promised to rectify the issue at no cost to me. They also did next day delivery. I was really pleased with how they handled the issue.
