I love the affordability of these invitations but I struggled with the lack of room for much information. We opted to create a webpage and hoped we could point people there for more information regarding accommodations and directions. Problem is, NOBODY IS READING OUR WEBSITE! It also looked kind of tacky for us to have the website on the invitation.
My biggest problem with these is the sealing labels. They are huge, look tacky (even though they're clear) and you're supposed to use 3 of them (one on back/center and one on each side). Most bridal websites advise hand cancelling invitations but no post office around here will hand cancel. They also refuse to accept them without the sides sealed because the sides might catch on the machine. The seals are too sticky, especially with 3, it's hard to get into the suckers. Sealed better than Fort Knox. And, on my practice invitations, the labels ripped the invitations which I guess isn't the end of the world but very disappointing. Since I don't like the look of the seals I was going to do a wax seal but the post office advised that the machines won't handle wax seals and the invitations might get destroyed. :(
These are great in theory but not very easy to mail. Ultimately I wish I had gone a different route and saved myself some headache.
Pictures show the invite with 1 seal and how it doesn't lay perfectly flat with only 1 which is why the PO says the machine will tear it up and then how the label destroyed the invitation when you open it. :(
