Before ordering these save the dates, I had searched a large number of websites comparing prices and layouts and I thought this was the best deal by far as I loved the layout and the price was exceptional. With so much excitement I opened up our box when we received it and my happy bubbles were instantly destroyed. I took the save the date out, gave one look at it, and my heart sank. I put it on my fridge to help me see what others would see if I sent it to them and thought "there is NO way I can send this out....this is going to make a terrible first impression." We would have done better doing it ourselves to be honest! So, what were the issues??Well, we chose the blue background as it was nearest to the color of our bridesmaid dress color (sapphire blue) which we love. The color online looks great. In person, it's dull and lack luster. We paid the extra money to get the white writing on top. Online it looked great together, but in person it looked as though the white color was tinged pinkish purple because of the blue. We chose a fancy font and it ended up being incredibly difficult to read in person. When typing your information online, you will notice that the lettering shrinks a lot when adding your words. Your wording gets really squished when using their recommended futura light font. Plus, that font is plain and boring. Sadly with the fine font we chose, and the dull white writing that looked pinkish/purple, the information was difficult to read. The save the date comes as a matte photocard. There is NO gloss. Our professional pictures no longer looked like professional photos. Lastly, we added one black and white photo which looked great online but when we got our cards, it looked like it was tinged blue and ruined the affect of our photograph.Needless to say...we are returning our save the date cards to David's Bridal and will be getting our money back. We had looked into them redoing them by correcting the issues, however they said that they do not gloss their photo save the dates. Therefore, we see no point in having them correct our save the dates. This how now caused us to have a big headache and hassle as (1) we have now lost out on money[...] and (2) have wasted time and will continue to lose time whilst we now look for an alternative.I DO NOT recommend this item.
